Very slow service and lack of support when work is required on one of their rental properties.
Not so good lately gave them a tenancy to let some months ago, they failed to pick this up forcing us to employ other agents. John H.
Very good service. Letting specialist listened carefully to our brief for rental property in the area.(We are buying a house in the country and need a base near London too.) They showed us a flat that is perfect, very convenient and that we wouldn't otherwise have viewed, as a bit out of the area we were looking.
Not the best estate agent around. They're not to helpful when we (the tenants) we're trying to get stuff sorted... surely it's their prerogative to make sure certain things are done. It felt like they were happy to take our money but not give any service in return.
I would not recommend to use the services of [email protected] staff are giving out misleading/withholding information. Firstly, after viewing a property twice my husband and I were informed that the advance payment would be 1 1/2 months rent which was altered in the Terms of Business to 2 months in advance. Secondly, on both viewings I requested for a long term contract (2 years) which we were informed by Martin@co that the landlord agreed to this contract but after signing the terms of business and payment was made to secure the property, in a matter of a couple of hours Martin@co emailed me to say that a 2 year contract could not go ahead because of the mortgage lender of the landlord. Only when I made a official complaint to Martin@co, they agreed to pay back the references fee and application fee although Martin@co are not obliged to do so. After quite a few emails, It took Martin@co almost a month before we got all the money back.
